Day 01: Lima – Huaraz

Transfer Hotel / Bus Station in Lima (8 hours journey). Arrival to Huaraz, the regional capital of the province of Ancash, 400 km north from Lima. Reception and transfer to hotel selected. Rest and overnight.

Day 02: Huaraz – Llanganuco – Huaraz

Morning excursion to Callejón de Huaylas, in the Santa River Valley, located between the “White and Black Mountain”. Regarded as a unique spot with its mild climate, ancient culture and amazing natural attractions. Many typical villages such as Recuay, Carhuaz Huaraz, Yungay and Caraz. Lunch. Afternoon excursion to Llanganuco Lagoon, which touches the great snow line of the Huascarán, fabulous landscape with blue water, flora and fauna. Return to hotel. Overnight. (B-L)

Day 03: Chavín de Huantar

Morning excursion to the archaeological Complex of Chavín, located near the Village of Chavín de Huantar. Three thousand years ago, Chavín was one of the main South American cultural religious centres. One of the most inspiring traces of this stone architecture is the Labyrinthine Castle, with enigmatic forms in carved stone such as “the Cabezas Clavas, sculptured with fierce faces, the “Lanzón de Chavín-exceptional monolithic”, “Las Estelas” with anthropozoomorphe figures, “La Portada de las Falcónidas” and the underground galleries. Lunch. Return to Hotel. (B-L)

Day 04: Huaraz – Lima

Transfer and return in Regular bus to Lima. Arrival and transfer to hotel. (B)
